All roads leading to the cottage are maintained by the city, there are no challenges getting around by car. Biking is also a great way to get around and enjoy the outdoors.

The cottage is located in a quiet family oriented neighborhood, excellent for a relaxing getaway. There are many ways to enjoy the area. In winter try snowshoeing, ice fishing or cross country skiing in the nearby Kawartha Nordic Ski Club. In summer enjoy excellent fishing, boating/canoeing on the Trent Severn Waterway, hiking and swimming off the property peninsula or visit one of the nearby beaches. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and you can find all urban amenities in the city of Peterborough, including walk in gyms, pools, libraries and more. Visit the Kawartha Country Wines for complementary wine tasting and other creations made using locally grown, farm-fresh fruits.
